CloTi and ClAeris Perspectives
How CloTi makes me WTF...
I had actually posted this on the Highwind page in my site, but rabid CloTi fucktards being what they are... well, they
couldn't comprehend that this was a bit of a laugh on my part. So sorry if I offended you by actually having a sense of
humor...

So, anyways, here it is again, presented as a (sort of) joke piece, as it was intended, beginning with the infamous Highwind
Scene of
FFVII...

(How I see) The CloTi Perspective...

Cloud and Tifa are left alone at the Highwind. They confess that they love each other and always have, even though they
didn't know each other at all as kids. Tifa, not wanting to die a virgin, propositions Cloud and they have sex out in plain
sight on a group of pointy rocks while their friends watch.

Later, on the Highwind, their friends tease them about the porno they put on under the Highwind. Tifa is mortified, but
Cloud, being used to people watch him have sex on pointy rocks, doesn't even flinch. He leaves Tifa to be teased and says
nothing to defend her.

After the fight with Sephiroth, Cloud finds himself surrounded by Lifestream. He thinks only of another woman he once
knew who died (rather than the one he just last night confessed to love and eagerly banged in full view of their friends), and
reaches toward the Lifestream, hoping to see her again. He is rewarded by a glimpse of her hand and reaches for it, only to
realize that the crater around him is crumbling. He grabs the hand only to discover it is Tifa's hand, and that they are in
mortal danger. While he and Tifa are being hoisted to safety, Cloud can only think of this other dead woman and meeting
her again in the Promised Land, a place of supreme happiness. Tifa, whom he confessed to love just last night, is
completely ignored as she clings to him. Not wanting to be left out, she invites herself along.

During
Case of Tifa, Cloud moves into the new and improved Seventh Heaven with Barret, Tifa, and Marlene. He makes
sure to have his own room, not wanting to share a bed with the woman he confessed to love and has already had sex with
once. He also fixes up a motorcycle and starts staying gone all the time, leaving his "true love" by herself most days.

One night, Tifa steals into Cloud's room. He's been treating her so badly that she actually has to
ask him if he loves her.
Cloud just stares at her and doesn't answer. Embarrassed, she quickly changes her question, asking him if he loves
Marlene. He easily answers 'yes' to
that particular question.

Tifa's feelings for Cloud also begin to change into "those a mother would have". After all, Tifa is a pedophile and dressing
up Cloud like a little boy has always been her fantasy. Nothing turns her on like little boys.

Cloud slowly begins to isolate himself after Barret leaves, hiding things from Tifa and staying gone all the time. He attempts
to come around more after discovering a boy named Denzel at a church where he is constantly reminded of that dead girl.
It seems Cloud thinks that that dead girl brought the boy to him and he develops a bond of affection with Denzel because of
that.

However, when Tifa invites herself to the dead girl's church and refuses to believe Cloud's idea that Denzel was led to him
by that dead girl, Cloud leaves and goes to live in the dead girl's church. Knowing that he has a terminal disease, Cloud
stays in a place that reminds him of the dead girl rather than remaining close to his "true love" for the time he has left.

By the time
AC rolls around, Cloud is perfectly content to die, although the woman he confessed to love is still very much
alive. Apparently, the forgiveness of that dead girl means more to him than the happiness of the woman he loves. It is only
after realizing that that dead girl never blamed him for her death that Cloud regains the will to live and fight.

After beating all the bad guys, Cloud ends up back at the church. His "true love" invites him back to her room with a sexy
look. Cloud ignores it and spots that pesky dead girl at the far end of the church. His "true love" is ignored from this point
on as his focus is entirely upon the dead girl as she walks away. He smiles beautifully at her as she speaks to him. In the
bonus video, "Calling", Cloud is seen riding out into a flower field where that dead girl is waiting.

The ClAeris Perspective...

Cloud and Tifa are left alone at the Highwind. They discuss their past mistakes and the healing process begins. They come
to realize how close they are and, while they didn't know one another as children, they are very close friends now. They
agree to support one another and stay in touch no matter what happens in the future.

The next morning, Tifa gets teased by their friends, who saw Tifa curled up asleep next to Cloud. Tifa, being naturally shy,
is embarrassed, especially since their friends don't even know what really happened. Cloud says nothing, not embarrassed
that they saw him allowing Tifa to sleep on his shoulder.

After the fight with Sephiroth, Cloud finds himself surrounded by Lifestream. He thinks only of Aerith, and reaches toward
the Lifestream, hoping to see her again. He is rewarded by a glimpse of her hand and reaches for it, only to realize that the
crater around him is crumbling. He grabs the hand only to discover it is Tifa's hand, and that they are in mortal danger.
While he and Tifa are being hoisted to safety, Cloud can only think of Aerith and meeting her again in the Promised Land, a
place of supreme happiness. Tifa, wanting nothing more than Cloud's happiness, hangs her head in acceptance. She knows
that Aerith is the one in Cloud's heart and offers to go with him to help him fulfill his wish to see Aerith again.

During
CoT, Cloud moves into the new and improved Seventh Heaven with Barret, Tifa, and Marlene. They all have their
own rooms, but Marlene always sleeps with Tifa. Cloud's room is sparse and filled with bike parts as he has bought a
motorcycle and has begun a delivery service.

At one point in the story, Tifa's feelings for Cloud being to change into "those a mother would have". Though she still loves
him to some extent, she has started to give up on a romantic relationship with him. She knows he is devastated over the loss
of Aerith and that she will only ever be second best.

One night, Tifa steals into Cloud's room. Willing to give it one last try, she works up the courage to ask him if he loves her.
Cloud, waking up, gives Tifa a perplexed look. He doesn't love her romantically, but doesn't wish to hurt her by saying so.
So, he chooses to remain silent on the matter. When Tifa asks him if he loves Marlene, he says 'yes'. Tifa realizes that
Aerith is the one in Cloud's heart and, while he may care for her as a friend, he doesn't love her the way she wants him to.

Cloud slowly begins to isolate himself after Barret leaves, hiding things from Tifa and staying gone all the time. He attempts
to come around more after discovering a boy named Denzel at Aerith's church. It seems Cloud thinks that Aerith brought
the boy to him and he develops a bond of affection with Denzel because of that.

However, when Tifa refuses to accept that Denzel was led to Cloud by Aerith, declaring that Denzel was led to
both of
them, Cloud clams up. It's becomes obvious to him that he simply cannot speak about Aerith to Tifa. Not only does she
force her own opinion on Cloud about why Denzel appeared at the church, but she has already invited herself to Aerith's
church the next time Cloud chooses to visit.

Cloud doesn't want to hurt Tifa, but his guilt and grief over Aerith's death are tearing him apart. Seeking solace and
comfort, Cloud leaves and moves into Aerith's church, where he can still feel her presence. Knowing that he has a terminal
disease, Cloud chooses to spend his remaining days in the place where he and Aerith first met.

During
AC, Cloud is content to die from Geostigma. He feels he has nothing left to live for since he failed to protect the
ones he loved, especially the one most precious to him- Aerith. However, after realizing that Aerith never blamed him and
that she never left his side, his guilt lifts and he regains the will to live and fight again.

After defeating the bad guys, Cloud ends up back at the church. All of his friends are there and they cheer for him, including
Tifa who gives him a happy "you did it" smile. But... they all fade away when he spots Aerith. He watches her in wonder
and smiles his most beautiful smile as she speaks to him. The ending, "Calling, shows Cloud riding out to a flower field
where Aerith appears to be waiting.

LOL...

Okay, I did take a few liberties with the CloTi one, but it was fun. I mean, their ideas just
do not add up! Do you see how
their interpretation doesn't make
any sense when you take the rest of the story into account? Not only that, but it makes
Cloud look like a cold-hearted bastard who uses Tifa and then strings her along for two years! He treats her like a
doormat and the scariest part of it all is that CloTi fans are okay with that. O_O WTF?!

Now, take the ClAeris perspective into account. See how it simply flows better with the storyline and
just makes more
sense
? Not only that, but it doesn't make Cloud look like a complete dick and Tifa a spineless wimp who lets him treat her
like dirt. With the ClAeris interpretation, the characters
remain in character, and the storyline actually merges quite nicely
with the rest of the Compilation.
